SIA ENERTEK has been awarded the contract to serve as the General Contractor for the reconstruction of a 3.5MW thermal capacity biomass boiler house in Kuressaare, Estonia.
Our scope of work encompassed various aspects of the project, including equipment and construction design, demolition of existing structures, installation of technological equipment, and commissioning of the new system.

One of the most challenging aspects of the project was designing and fitting all the necessary equipment into the existing building framework while ensuring easy access for maintenance.
After completing the design, we proceeded with the demolition of the existing structures and adjustments to accommodate the new technology.

Subsequently, a range of technological equipment, such as mechanical, pressure, hydraulic, and electrical components, were installed. The new equipment is entirely automated and integrated into the local automatic systems.
Eventually, commissioning, emission, and efficiency tests were conducted to verify the full functionality of the new system and its compliance with all applicable standards.
